Transportation Grant Administrator

The Purchase Area Development District (PADD) is seeking a qualified individual for the Transportation Grant Administrator position. This position is primarily responsible for managing and supporting various KYTC grants.
Skills required include excellent verbal and written communication, experience in grant administration, familiarity with FTA programs, ability to work well with diverse populations, initiative and self-direction, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, and experience with Microsoft Office applications.
Applicants must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in transportation planning, urban planning, project administration, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. Applicants must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Home Care Aide

The Purchase Area Development District is seeking an individual to work with senior adults as a Home Care Aide in the Kentucky Home Care program. The Homecare Aide is responsible for adhering to each client’s care plan as developed by the case manager and the client. The Homecare Aide will visit and assist clients living within the eight counties of the Purchase District.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and must have a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities include visiting clients’ homes to assist with home management, including general cleaning and homemaking, personal care, chore/deep cleaning services, escort/transportation services, respite care, adhering to all state regulations, guidelines, and policy and procedure requirements of the program, and completing all necessary paperwork and electronic data entry required, etc. Skills needed include excellent verbal and written communication, self-direction and organizational skills, efficiency and attention to detail, and the ability to relate appropriately to consumers and other professionals. Knowledge of or ability to learn and effectively utilize program-related computer software is required.
