Low-income homeowners needing repairs to their homes can apply for low interest loans through PAHC. Interest rates are 3% and 5% depending on the family's income. A copy of the deed must accompany the application along with a $25.00 application fee. To qualify, the applicant must own their home for at least one year and it must be the family's principal residence. Loan funds must be used for repairs or replacements to existing structures, not for additions. Cost estimates must accompany the application. An additional fee will be added to the loan to cover a title search.
