HOMECARE PROGRAM COORDINATOR

The Purchase Area Development District (PADD) is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Homecare Program Coordinator.  Responsible for all requirements of the Kentucky Homecare program; oversight of waiting list; client assessments; compiles reports; conducts ongoing evaluation of caseloads.

Skills required include excellent verbal and written communication, initiative and self-direction, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, and knowledge of senior and/or disability services. 

Applicant must meet one of the following qualifications:
1. Have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a health or human services profession from an accredited college or university. Four (4) years or more experience as a case manager. With one year of experience in health or human services, or the educational or experiential equivalent in the field of aging or physical disabilities.
2. Be a currently licensed RN who has at least two years of experience as a professional nurse in the field of aging or physical disability
3. Have a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university which serves as a substitute for the experience required above.

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE

Due to the Retirement of current staff the Purchase Area Development District is recruiting for the position of Associate Director of Finance.  The position will be responsible for maintaining a system of internal controls that will ensure that company assets are adequately safeguarded and that all financial reporting is prepared in compliance with financial policies and U.S. GAAP. The position will also oversee the general accounting and financial reporting functions of the Purchase Area Development District and other related companies.  

Minimum education requirements include a Bachelors degree in Accounting or a Business-related area along with a minimum of five years of related experience. 

Salary is commensurate with education and experience.  The PADD offers an excellent benefit package.

CASE MANAGER / SERVICE ADVISOR
PARTICIPANT DIRECTED SERVICES PROGRAM

The Purchase Area Development District (PADD) is seeking an individual to work with Medicaid eligible persons in the state Participant Directed Services (PDS) program.  The Service Advisor (Case Manager) is responsible for on-going case management functions for residents in the eight county Purchase District.  

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a health or human services field and have at least one (1) year of experience in a health or human services field; or the educational or experiential equivalent in the field of aging or disabilities. Or, be a registered nurse who has at least two (2) years of experience as a professional nurse in the field of aging or disabilities. Or, have a Master’s degree in a health or human services field. 

Responsibilities include working with consumers and/or their representatives to assure compliance with program regulations, and visiting each consumer monthly.   

Skills needed include excellent verbal and written communication, self-direction, excellent organizational skills, efficiency, ability to relate to other professionals, and well developed computer skills.  A working knowledge of the Medicaid Waiver and/or Case/Care Management experience is a plus.
