MARSHALL COUNTY SENIOR CENTER DIRECTOR

The Purchase Area Development District (PADD) is seeking a qualified individual for the part-time position of Marshall County Senior Center Director.  This position is primarily responsible for all requirements of the Federal Title IIIB and Title IIID programming facilitated in Marshall County.

Responsibilities include: Coordinate Title IIIB Health Promotion sessions and provide Telephone Reassurance calls; provide Title IIID Evidence Based Programs; determine eligibility for participation; provide all documentation and reporting required; submit invoices, etc.

Other duties include arranging educational opportunities, performing outreach activities, and overall aging program management support.

Skills required include excellent verbal and written communication, ability to work well with diverse populations, initiative and self-direction, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, experience in Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of senior and/or disability services. 

A minimum of a high school diploma is required, and preference will be given to candidates with experience in working with those 60 years of age and older. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

AGING PROGRAM COORDINATOR

The Purchase Area Development District (PADD) is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Aging Program Coordinator.  This position is primarily responsible for all requirements of the State Health Insurance Assistance Program; services contracted to Senior Citizen Centers; contracted Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) services; and marketing, support group development and other activities to enhance/expand the Family Caregiver program.

Responsibilities include: helping seniors access and/or understand public benefits, including the Medicare Part D Prescription Drug program; working closely with Senior Citizens Centers and SCSEP provider to provide technical assistance, quality assurance and monitoring; and focused marketing, support group development and enhancement/expansion of the Family Caregiver program.

CASE MANAGER / SERVICE ADVISER
Participant Directed Services Program

The Purchase Area Development District is seeking an individual to work with Medicaid eligible persons in the state Participant Directed Services (PDS) program.  The Service Advisor (Case Manager) is responsible for on-going case management functions for residents in the eight county Purchase District.  

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a health or human services field and have at least one (1) year of experience in a health or human services field; or the educational or experiential equivalent in the field of aging or disabilities. Or, be a registered nurse who has at least two (2) years of experience as a professional nurse in the field of aging or disabilities. Or, have a Master’s degree in a health or human services field. 

Responsibilities include working with consumers and/or their representatives to assure compliance with program regulations, and visiting each consumer monthly.   

Skills needed include excellent verbal and written communication, self-direction, excellent organizational skills, efficiency, ability to relate to other professionals, and well developed computer skills.  A working knowledge of the Medicaid Waiver and/or Case/Care Management experience is a plus.

OBLIGATIONS COORDINATOR
Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act

The Purchase Area Development District is seeking an individual to fill the position of Obligations Coordinator for the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).  The Obligations Coordinator is responsible for managing the financial process of funding obligations and accurately tracking customer expenses for the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) program.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, database management experience and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities include but will not be limited to monitoring the accuracy of obligations and de-obligations submitted, submitting obligations reports, reviewing training requests, preparing authorization documentation for customer purchases, assisting with the preparation of all WIOA reports, and contacting training institutions regarding customer expenses. 

Skills needed include knowledge of workforce activities, excellent verbal and written communication, self-direction and excellent organizational skills, efficiency and attention to detail, and the ability to relate appropriately to coworkers and other professionals.  Knowledge of or ability to learn and effectively utilize program related computer software required.
